Fire Engine Red is an album of vivid and romantic storytelling that showcases Robert Francis' continued maturity as a musician.

Recorded at Sunset Sound Studios in Hollywood, CA and Testa Studios in Leon, Mexico, the album features eight songs produced by Robert himself, with engineering and mixing by Martin Pradler (The Pretenders, Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, Ry Cooder).

The title track will serve as the lead single and video.

Throughout the album, Francis reaches new emotional depths, writing "out of himself" for other people, resulting in a collection of songs that are both personal and relatable.

With its stucco houses, corrugated steel roofs, thunderstorms, and 10 cent beers, LeOn, Mexico provided the perfect backdrop for Francis to draw inspiration from the culture and create some of his most memorable work yet.
