Horita PTG-2 Portable Time Code Generator with OLED Display

Easy to setup and operate, Horita's PTG2 is a palm-sized SMPTE time code generator/reader that features a large 2-line OLED display readout for time code, user bits and set up information.

This generator is well-suited for use with video recorders in multi camera situations where it is necessary for each recording to have the same time code for precise time and image matching during post production.

These situations may include sporting events, games, concerts, automobile, aircraft and boating events, parades, weddings, and more.For these applications individual PTG2s are jammed (automatically preset and started) via an externally applied SMPTE time code signal.

The generator's time value is set to the input time code time value and the time code user bits are set to the date plus a unique ID number for each individual PTG2.

Once jammed, generator operation continues and can be stopped only by powering the PTG off.
