Incorporating a true time delay circuit, Eventide released the FL201 Instant Flanger in 1975 to emulate the effect created by tape speed fluctuations that occurred when a tape flange was touched.

It' s the standard by which all other hardware flangers are judged.

The Instant Flanger MK II is faithfully modeled on the FL201 and retains the character and beautiful imperfections that define classic analog hardware.

It can be used for stereo sweetening, subtle modulations, double-track simulation, and deep sweeping flanges.

You can choose from shallow, deep, and wide to find a base for your application and then tweak the rate, modifier, feedback, and follower controls to taste.

Plus, you can sync, retrigger, and control the effect via a sidechain.
