The FG-116 Blue series recreates the tone of two vintage “rev A” FET limiting amplifiers authentically and offers two uniquely modernized versions of the classic FET circuit.

Use across all your mixes with the added hi pass detection and a parallel mix knob, all in one dynamic EQ Plug in.Vintage Fet limiting has two circuits for tone, shape, and size adapting.

A classic "mid-forward" character, Vintage Circuit 1 adds wonderful coloration to the upper midrange, while keeping a softer top and bottom end.

Transients are more articulate due to the harmonic distortion in the midrange, adding a warm presences to vocals, bass, drums, and guitars.

Modeled after a "rev A" unit, Vintage Circuit 2 delivers bigger lows and smoother mids and highs—perfect for drum room mics and creating big vocals.The Modern Circuits keep the balance between slow release and punchy attack.

On close drum mics, the Modern Circuit 1 is slow enough that this compressor can sound amazing when set to the slowest attack and fastest release.
