The BC-W3-8-6 offers a secure and reliable overhead rigging solution for standard structural wood and Glulam overhead beams.

This robust three-piece, all-steel design is adaptable to beams with depths of 6 inches (155 mm) or more and widths ranging from 3 to 8 inches (76-200 mm).Its hang point eye is firmly affixed to a load-bearing channel positioned at the center of the wood beam's underside.

The hang point eye has the capability to swivel in the direction of the applied force, reducing lateral stress when the load isn't vertically aligned or is offset from the center.Two side plates are used to anchor the BC-W3-8-6 to the wood beam, with the choice of lag bolts or through bolts depending on the specific application.

If uncertainty arises, it is advisable to consult with a structural engineer to determine the optimal attachment method for safety and structural integrity.The two side plates provide support for the load channel below, which can smoothly pass through both side plates and then be permanently secured with two angle tabs.This design ensures a stable and secure connection for suspended loads.
