An extension of AJA’s FiDO (Fiber Digital Optical) family of SDI/Optical Fiber converters, this transceiver, the FiDO-R-12G transmits and receives while meeting relevant SMPTE specifications.

This FiDO converter supports the transport of 4K/UltraHD/2K/HD/SD video and audio over long distances (up to 32,808 ft) over one optical cable.
