Step 2: Find the washer tab that is tucked underneath the retaining ring and bend it away.

Step 3 : Using a retaining ring removal tool and a breaker bar, remove the retaining ring.

Step 4 : Using a bearing carrier removal tool, remove the bearing carrier assembly from the bottom unit.
