Walter Worms are a perfect live food for many types of nano fish, baby axolotls, and fish fry.

They are easy to culture at home with just a starter culture, instant mashed potatoes or quick oats, yeast, and a container.

Simply add a couple inches of quick oats or potato flakes to the container, add water, and microwave for two minutes.

Let it cool for up to a half an hour before taking a spoonful of an established culture and placing on top of the oats.

Sprinkle the culture with yeast and cover it, then let it sit for about a week to see the worms climbing the sides of the container.
