Uber Death: Memoir of a Body Transporter

This is a compilation of observations from the perspective of a morgue transporter.

I took a break from the death care profession for several years and returned to briefly find it unchanged.During my most recent gig, I was doing long-distance morgue to funeral home deliveries.Previouly, I did scene removals for local murders, suicides, and accidental deaths.I went into embalming after a term of military service during which I was trained in Mortuary Affairs.This led to a series of jobs centered around the disposition of human remains and I’ve acquired a well-rounded perspective on the industry.It’s quite an undertaking and most are shielded from the worst of it.Hopefully, this book will give those who want to know more than they need.
