Holly surprises one and all when she returns with the kind of boyfriend every 18-year-old girl dreams of: a hot European rock star named Ben (David de Lautour).

While loyal Vince struggles to make sense of that turn of events, Holly's older sister, Valerie (Jennie Garth), one-ups her and gets engaged to Rick (Ed Kerr)! While Val and Lauren (Leslie Grossman) continue to grow their public-relations business, they now have something else to bond over -- a wedding! Meanwhile, Holly is excited to be attending New York University alongside Gary Thorpe (Wesley Jonathan), Vince's new roommate!
