The film follows the journey of brash Oakland art student Pica (Toby Smith) as she attempts to preserve the existence of young Black men around her through Polaroid snapshots, while forging a friendship with a woman in an abusive relationship and experiencing love, heartbreak, and the everyday threat of violence.
