2016, I took Jason's SEO (Search Engine Optimization), Ad Words, and Social Media Marketing online class series.

I found Jason via the Stanford Continuing Studies program, but decided to take his classes online.

Normally, I prefer in-person classes.

However, since SEO, Ad Words, and Social Media live on the internet, watching Jason walk through everything in an online format works really well.

Jason is a phenomenal teacher for two reasons - what he teaches and how he teaches it.

In terms of the "what", he is clearly an expert on internet marketing.

He demonstrates this through his exhaustive list of resources that he shares in his classes as well as his expert, insider tips about internet marketing that you cannot get from Google.

In terms of the "how", I consider SEO and Ad Words in particular to be dry, complex, technical material.

Jason, however, makes the material digestible and fun through his use of analogies, real-world examples, and his dry humor.

He is quite funny and kept me engaged, because he transformed the complexity of internet marketing into smaller, manageable pieces.
