Fill the cooker with water to create steam.(The bags can't be dry heat sterilization)Ensure that the bags don't have direct contact with the surface of the pressure cooker.

Direct contact with a heated surface, under pressure, can cause the bags to deform or burst.Not pre-seal the mushroom grow bags during the sterilization process.

This will increase the chances of the bag bursting especially if you are using a pressure cooker.

You'll need to seal the bags immediately right after sterilization.
