On a dark night outside a seedy bar, a stunning blonde actress is found brutally strangled on the footpath.

Detective Jack Stevens (Lawrence Tierney), an off-duty cop indulging in a night of serious drinking has become the prime suspect for the murder.

But with no memory of that night and unable to confirm or deny eye-witness reports that he left the bar with the victim, Stevens begins his own investigation.
