I put this in my Mom's bedroom and it keeps her nice a chilly. She complains b/c she gets too cold. That's the point! This little guy is pretty powerful and the thermostat works great.

Purchased 2 of this same a/c unit after the 2 we had died in mid- August. They were inexpensive and energy efficient. They didnt seem to cool as well as our older units and they were the same BTUs...
