After reading the problems a few of the other reviewers had, I suggest reading the instructions; they may get thrown out with the box. It is a little difficult to fill....the seed spews out of the holes....but lifting the squirrel cage covers the holes and prevents the seed from going out the holes...it is just a little awkward ... [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Keeps pesky squirrels from getting the seeds this is the third one I have purchased I still have one and the other one busted when a squirrel twisted it and it fell off it's top and broke when it hit the ground so I make sure that when I put the top back on I make sure it's tight
