I purchased these curtains online for my young daughter's room. They were exactly what I hoped for -- light and bright feeling without being gaudy. We have room darkening shades also on her windows, so light filtering is not an issue. Obviously, gingham is a light material, so I would not recomme...

Would have liked the curtains to block out sunlight a little better than they do, but they still look great in the baby's room!

Since these curtains are so thin, I've had to back them with a darker material to keep the light out during nap time with our daughter.
