This Octenol works equally well if not better for sand gnats as it does for mosquitoes. I can now work in the flower garden without being eaten alive by sand gnats! Live in coastal Georgia and Octenol is recommended for coastal areas.

Definitely does it's job! Each pack works for approx 30 days. Always cleaning out mosquitoes from the catch basket.

The octenol is the same product wherever you buy it. Was mislead on the number of pieces in the package.
