I have been using a Downy ball for 20 plus years. My heart was broken this morning when I went to fill the ball. It was broken, I just had some work done in my basement, and think they have dropped the ball. I remember I had another one. I found it.

My mom had one when I was a teenager and we still use it to this day. It works great we never had a problem with it. It's durable and won't break. It does its job it will open up and the fabric softener will come out when the washer goes on its spinning cycle.

This product is garbage. I breaks right out of the package. The first one broke. The manufacturer replaced it (the only reason it got one star). The second one broke right out of the package. I don't know how they can sell this product. Does not work, period.
