I bought a Samsung dishwasher and struggled getting the detergent packs in and when I did, lots of the dishes were still dirty. I FINALLY read the manual and it said to use the gel detergent and sprinkle the powdered detergent on the inside of the door. Works absolutely fine!

I have seen clearer glass ware with the powder. You would think powder would leave streaks and powder is outdated form of dishwashing soap, but it works nicely. I do want to try the platinum plus but can't imagine leaving so much food on the dishes The powder works for clear glassware
