I combine this small pet bedding with the green bags of Timothy hay (which can also be purchased at Wal-Mart) as bedding for my mice. I normally change thecages more frequently, but the combination lasts for up to 2 weeks before there's a foul smell in the cages.

I tried one that is more paper (like paper towel texture) like and it stayed wet. This kind soaks ups better and their area stays cleaner.

Great for litter,I use for my skinny pig,I put soft bedding onto of this type as it is thick but great for absorbing.

love this bedding, so do my hamsters and my little piggies. But when you order from wal mart .com. check your bags careful I had a bag come to me taped and ripped open. thank god the store is going to exchange it for me.
