I bought these as groomsmen gifts and had to return them because the quality was so poor. The wooden crates were falling apart on 3 out of the 5 sets that I bought.

the bocce balls were in great shape, however the crates weren't. They had broken slates, screws were missing. I saw no reason to complain due to the fact I would receive the same quality crate. We used our old crates that were of better quality (steel mesh).

The bocce balls themselves are fine, but I was shocked by the shoddy crate they came in. It was in pieces when it arrived. Very nice quality set, comes in durable wooden box and the balls are heavy, not cheap plastic. It's just like the Bocce set we rented on the beach this year!
