I bought this as a replacement rim for my Hydra-Rib system. I was concerned that it may not fit properly, although my little research indicated that it should. I'm pleased to say that it was a fairly simple job; and it came out great!

Almost exact replacement for original rim however does mot install exactly the same as the one it replaces. Nonetheless more than adequate replacement. Walmart customer service outstanding with resolving problem fairly, quickly and efficiently.

The Spalding Pro Image Basketball rim is an excellent product. It was easy to install and is very sturdy. I expect it will hold up nicely to many years of shooting hoops. Very good quality for the price paid.

This rim is a very sturdy, good rim. We replaced our old one with this one because with all of the kids hanging on our old one it was getting pretty crooked and I really don't see this one ever doing that. It seems very well made. My kids are very happy with this rim.

Quality replacement rim, took less than 10 minutes to get it on the backboard. Clearly better than the original rim that came with my Spalding backboard setup. Original was damaged in storm last Fall. The Spalding 227 is superior but also much more expensive...
