Geratherm Mercury-Free Oral Thermometer

Couldn't get it to work at all. Blue line was at the max at all times. All the others in the store were the same. Even the Pharmacist didn't know how to work them. I wanted a mercury one like the one I had which was always reliable. Waste of money, time and aggravation.

I have owned 3 of these and experienced the same problem. It doesn't matter what my actual temperature is, it will always measure 97.8 degrees. Stuck at 98.6 F even in ice water. Geratherm D-98716 "equate" brand, Made in Germany. Mercury Free. Patented, it says. Not reliable. Total waste. This is a health hazard, because you rely on this at a critical time.

Was looking for an accurate thermometer and this is great...a little hard to shake down but, works fine
