I had a bathtub in an old house that had a slow drain. Because of the plumbing configuration, there was a slight uphill in the pipe, which does not allow for regular drain cleaners to work properly. The foaming action of this product was exactly what was needed.

Works great--although after letting it sit in the sink for an hour, it takes time to get hot water right away. So use heated water from the microwave while you run the water in the sink.

Liquid Plumr Foaming Gel is the product to use when one FIRST senses the pipes are clogging. I use it as recommended and my bathroom sink clears out to allow easy flow of water without buildup of water in the sink bowl.
