great for gerbils. my daughter has five but its not a great ideas to put them all in there at the same time don't get me wrong they all fit but they didn't grow up together. we didn't leave them unattended since they can jump high we're going to put something over it to see if it works

This is even better than I had hoped. We fill it with blocks and toilet paper tubes, etc. and it makes a great way for the girls to interact with their hamster without the fear of him getting away.
