My husband was putting this together and he had to make a couple of holes, because the holes were drilled in the wrong spot and the directions did not fully explain how to put it together. When he was finished it looks great. Haven't put anything in them yet to see if it holds.

The overall look of this chest for the price is nice, but the drawers stick making it very difficult to open and close and the paint is poorly done in some areas.

The dresser itself is great. The drawer pull mechanism needs to be upgraded. It is not smooth and must grasp both handles on the drawer to pull it out.
