My husband's glasses have narrow bow tips, and the retainers hold them securely. He has now purchased several of this version to replace the tubular fabric version which doesn't have retainers and are apparently sized for wider bows. Great price, too.

Since the minute I got them I put them in my reading glasses and I haven't take them off. They are not so long but that is exactly what I need, that way they are not in the way or get stock in anything.
