      The installation CD does not have the correct driver for Windows 8. The Com 4 port is recognized some times and at other times requires a restart.

      Windows XP and Linux found it installed it up and running no muss no fuss. Windows 7 did not auto install drivers. Had to go thru the install process to get the drivers loaded. Then it worked like ...
