This makes the best red beans if you add Eckrich skinless smoked sausage and 2 or 3 cups of trinity mix. I always use Camelia dry red beans.

This really add flavor to red beans. It makes you seem like a red bean expert. I use it with smoked sausage and of course I soak the red beans in water over night before cooking.
