My 5 year loved this game for 2 weeks, then it would not boot up. The marvel sheild keep blinking and would not advance to the start of the game. Does anybody have a fix ?

I got this for my son for Christmas 2009. It worked that day and still works. Its not the greatest game in the world, but my 6 year old loves it. Its easy for him to set up and play all by himself. We've had no issues with the game not working.
