Better than the name brands. Bought a variety of brands but now we only buy these; if out of stock, we wait a week to make burritos, dip or whatever we planned. It's now worth buying something else that's not as good and wasting expensive ground round!

I thought I'd save a few pennies by getting these great value refried beans. When I went to make my Mexican meal I opened up the can and there were actually whole beans and they weren't seasoned all that great. Been buying these for years. They have been okay. But now they've been hit by shrinkflation. So much water now, may as well be bean soup. Very, VERY disappointed.

GV refried beans were always good. This time, the can was pure liquid. Another case of shrinkflation? By the time the liquid was boules down there was nothing left. Guess I won't be buying this again.
