McCormick Gourmet Kosher Valencia Orange Peel, 1.5 oz Bottle
McCormick Gourmet uses sweet oranges, named for the city of Valencia in Spain, as the source of their dried orange peel.
It delivers the zesty flavor of grated orange peel to desserts, marinades, breads, cookies and cakes.
We use only the thin outer layer of the orange peel where the intensely flavored essential oils are.
We finely grate the peel, allowing the sweet citrus flavor and aroma of Valencia oranges to really shine through.
It infuses your recipes in the most delicious way possible.
Add to desserts like cheesecake and rice pudding as well as to savory ham glaze, stir-foys and spice blends.
Discover the convenience of always having orange peel on hand.
Use our dried peel as a one-to-one equal substitute for fresh orange peel.

A lot of companies claim that their products have an orange taste to their Orange Peel spice, but this one really does. Just enough to enhance the flavor of your chicken or pork, which is what I used it on. Especially the pork. Made it taste a smidgen tangy and delicious.

This product helps my Tres Leches more tasteful than how I made it before. It added great orange taste to it on top of the customary vanilla flavor and it really brightens up my desserts. I am proud to say that I enjoy making more desserts than ever.

I make orange peel sauce for my tofu, I make orange flavor cookies, I put a little in my banana muffins too ! I have put some in my iced tea for a different flavor. Great flavor not too strong. Will last a long time. Like the glass jar, stays fresher longer in glass.

The best surprise was when I used it under the skin of chicken breasts. Then I baked the chicken in the oven for one hour, basting with real butter every 20 minutes or so. The skin came out crispy and the chicken had a nice, light orange flavor. Also tried it with the McCormick Gourmet Herb Lemon...
