My car has over 220,000 miles on it. Keeping my oil changed between 4 - 5000 miles and using MotorKote (hyper lubricant) and Mobile One is what I think has kept it running so long.

The Only Oil I use in C6 Corvette %26 Silverado. I upgraded to Extended Mileage because in the Desert heat is stands up stronger %26 seals gaskets better preventing Oil Leaks from them IMO.
