Rock of the 80' s, Vol.

2 is a brief collection of synth pop and new wave classics.

At only ten tracks it doesn't pretend to be a definitive statement of the decade, instead it is just a fairly random collection of artists.

There are certainly some treasures here: Kim Carnes' 'Bette Davis Eyes,' Fun Boy Three's 'Really Saying Something,' Missing Persons' 'Destination Unknown' and Was (Not Was)' 'Walk the Dinosaur.' There are also a couple of dogs in Sly Fox's 'Let's Go All the Way' and Jellybean's 'The Mexican.' For a low-priced introduction to the new wave/synth pop and pop sound of the 80s you could do worse.

With a little looking you could do better, however.
