Before buying make sure your sink has overflow hole, this will only work on sinks that have overflow. If you install this on a non overflow sink it will leak badly.

Bought this just for the stopper rod that pivots up and down. Mine had rusted and failed. Got the stopper functioning again without tearing the whole drain apart and spent less than $10.

This product is not top of the line, but they don't sell it as such. For a good fix at a good value, this is my choice.
