Just tried the cover on my brand new generator and it was very easy to install. Under the cover, all operating knob and breaker, etc are accessible through a flap held in place with velcro. Even the top of the gen is accessible for fuel up. So no need to remove it. Very well thought.

The product (storm Shield) is easy to install. It is somewhat intuitive. Though some of the pictures in the manual could be better done. Remove the schematic diagrams and include color pictures of the steps to install.
