I keep the suet in a wire cage fully exposed to the weather. The suet doesn't melt in the sun or wash away much even in a hard winter rain. The birds feeding on the suet in the cage include three species of woodpeckers (Flicker, Sapsucker, and Downy), Oregon Juncos, Chickadees, Nuthatches, etc......

This suet food has worked well. Doesn't melt in hot days. Woodpeckers, titmouse and Jennyrehns love it along with some other birds! Will purchase again!
