This cable was more than 50% less than the same cable at Radio Shack. I made my mom return that one. You can't go wrong buying a basic cable like this for internet access. Great value.

I needed about 2 ft. more. I did not want too much extra cable so I bought the 14' instead of the longer one. The plug does not seem to fit tight into laptop. Some times I loose connection.
