12.5 lb Plates are easy to handle durable and best used for longer barbells and a bit large diameter to use for making dumbbells but might be possible if you are looking to make heavy ones.

I like that the weights are thin. I have trouble fitting all of the weight I want on my dumbells and these thin weights make things easier. I also liked the price and relatively quick delivery time
