Works. No instructions provided. 2 metal clips provided, to attach to HD, that slide into internal ridges for supporting the drive. Used middle holes on HD, one each side. I think 4 clips would be better.

Not twice as fast on my machine, but definitely faster than USB2. On my Windows 7 machine, you can even turn it off when not in use, and just turn it back on for a weekly backup. One odd thing: It comes with no instructions of any sort, for connecting, warranty, or what the OneTouch Backup button...
