I bought this as a gift for my daughter's cat. It is awesome to watch when treats are inside. For regular food, it does not excite the cat as much.

Our cats are ages 6 & 3 yrs old, this feeder has challenged them and given them something to do. It's fun to watch them. Also it's large enough they can both use it at the same time, and is saving us money on treats since they eat them a little slower.
