During the daylight they look almost like a wireless speaker, clean %26 modern look. At night, they give only an ambient flame as light, not bright, but appealing. As far as efficacy as a mosquito deterrent, I haven't had them long enough to know.

The little pull-out tray to collect the remains of electrocuted insects is pretty useless, at least for the one I have, because they fry right onto the shock grid. You have to get a brush like a small paint brush to brush them off. There are screws on the sides of the torch (the black part), but ...
