Just purchased my 2nd 9235XT. The first one is still ticking just fine after landing over 100 slot and over size redfish, a 50lb 42" black drum, numerous flounder and trout. Excellent drag system, and very lightweight setup. Paired with a H&H HX4 and PTX 7ft rods, these are redfish machines!

Just got this reel in a few days ago and right out the box the reel was smooth and the drag was perfect. Recommend this reel to any serious angler

Great drag, line capacity, retrieve ratio, I love this reel. I own the arbor, 3 presidents, trion, and the surrender xt. The patriarch will be my next purchase. Pflueger is awesome.

I am so happy that I bought this reel! I've caught so many large mouth bass, and trout and mackerel and even snook on it. It will handle anything from a little trout to a huge snook! Very impressed!
