I use it everyday and it saves me dishes like a strainer it's a one step pot and the perfect size for my large family. Love the non stick coating makes things so much easier. Little sad I couldn't find it at the store had to order it online.

I bought this one as a gift after owning my own for several years. I use it a LOT. I not only only use it for pasta but for potatoes, ground meat, or anything that I need to drain water or grease from. It's durable, cooks evenly, and does the trick!

While it's not essential to have a pasta cooker with drain lid in the kitchen, especially if you already own a colander, it is a nice addition. The lid locks onto the pot to make draining the water so much easier. Pot is also nonstick, so I didn't have any issues with noodles sticking to the bottom.
