Excellent pot for draining off liquids. Have used this pot 3 times now and I am very impressed with it. The draining part of the pot locks in and stays in until removed. Pot can be used with or without draining part attached. Pot is well made and very durable. Excellent pasta pot for the money.

Did a great job with a small pickling job! No reaction to the vinegar, and the pouring insert was helpful for rinsing the lime out of the cucumbers. Handles remain cool to the touch, and the glass top is helpful for monitoring boiling rate and cook status.
