Have not tried it yet, will update after first sap, however I give 4 stars because the batteries that came with the unit were already expired by 2 years and showed signs of possible leakage so i am using my own batteries.

What I like about this one is that it reaches so far and you can even bend it a little bit which helps get the bug...
