I am using this equipment right now. It works beautifully as portable memory storage. I use between three computers. Each has software on it and I use the passport drive to carry my files I am working on between them.

this is my second portable hard drive that i buy from walmart, and the same brand. they work just great and they help me clean up my desktop and laptop, by storing in them all the important files and all the pictures we have.

I would highly recommend this thing for the lap top computer if they needed one my son came down and spent the morning with this item and he never said a word. so must be great. thank you very much and the item is cheaper than when you buy it from the lap top computer maker.
