I tried a bargain brand version of this and it just failed to function at all. Transferring my data for backup was a simple drag and drop operation. it took some time but all in all a very good product.

I just got this, and it's my third SSD from Western Digital. I fill up my previous drives and I buy another one. Always dependable and simply work. They are fantastic. I will buy another one when I fill this one up too!
