Got this rod for an ultra light reel for backpacking. Works great.Extends easily and retracts just as well. Cast great even with it's short length. Luv it!!!!!

haven't had a chance to actually use it yet, that is why only rated good on expectations, extends and collapses easily to a perfect fit for my tackle box, seems a little stronger than lite duty, which was my purpose in buying to replace a 6 piece rod I have been using, now to see how well it cast

I wanted a light/ultra light rod I could store in a back pack and these rods are exactly what I wanted at a very reasonable price. The spincast rods (I bought two) compact down to about 13 inches and extend to about 4 1/2 ft. They are perfect for my Zebco 11.

I have not used this one yet but I have owned them before. This is a light weight rod so don't expect to land a shark with it. I would recommend it for a bug out bag.
